1) A single-entry visa is issued for a period of up to 90 calendar days, with a maximum stay of 30 days from the date of entry.

2) A multiple-entry visa is issued for a period of up to 180 calendar days, with a maximum stay of 90 days.
Types and validity periods of the B2 visa:
The B2 visa category is intended for foreigners arriving in Kazakhstan for the purposes of:
  • Installation, adjustment and maintenance of equipment
  • Provision of consulting or auditing services.
Business visa category B2
  • A single-entry visa is issued for 90 calendar days, with a maximum stay of 30 days. This visa is used for a single visit for the purpose of negotiations.
  • A multiple-entry visa can be issued for up to one year. The maximum stay is 30 days per entry, and it is used for negotiations, contract signing, and for company officials.
Types and validity periods of the B3 visa:
Visa category B3 is issued to foreign citizens in the following cases:
Participation in meetings, negotiations, and the conclusion of contracts and agreements as part of investment and industrial projects, as well as visits by founders or members of the board of directors of companies.
B3 Business Visa
Regulatory regulation of B2 and B3 visas
The process of issuing B2 and B3 category visas, including the list of required documents, is regulated by the Rules for issuing and approving invitations, issuing and renewing visas, and canceling and restoring visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The application process is divided into several stages:

Submission of the arrival notification.
After obtaining a visa and arriving in Kazakhstan, the inviting company is obliged to submit a notification to the migration service within 3 working days from the moment of entry.

Stage 2
After the invitation is approved and the visa support number is received, the foreigner applies for a visa at the Embassy/Consulate of Kazakhstan in their place of residence or citizenship. The processing time is from 1 to 5 business days.

If there is no representative office of Kazakhstan in the country of residence, a visa can be issued upon arrival at international airports — in agreement with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Possibility of electronic submission

Single-entry visas of categories B2 and B3 can be issued electronically through the visa and migration portal, without the need to contact the Embassy.
