A single-entry B3 visa can be issued without prior invitation from the Embassy./The Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan to citizens of the following countries:

Australia, Austria, USA, Belgium, UAE, Bulgaria, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Denmark, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, Jordan, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Qatar, Cyprus, Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Great Britain, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia.

To submit an invitation to the migration service, the inviting party must:
• An invitation letter (indicating the purpose of the visit, the multiplicity of the visa, the data of the foreign citizen, the date of arrival, route, information about the employer);
• Receipt of payment of state duty — 0.5 MCI;
• A copy of the contract or service agreement between the inviting company and the foreigner's employer (only for B2 multiple-entry visas, with the exception of a number of countries);
• A copy of the passport of a foreign citizen;
• Power of attorney (if the documents are submitted by a representative of the company).

To insert a visa at the Embassy/The Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan requires:
• A copy of the invitation letter with the visa support number (not required for countries with B3 simplified entry);
• Application from a foreign citizen (for countries with a simplified procedure);
• 1 color photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm);
• Completed and signed application form;
• A receipt for payment of the consular fee (usually from 200 to 300 USD).

It is not possible to extend a B3 business visa within Kazakhstan.
However, a B2 visa can be extended once for up to 30 calendar days without leaving the country.

To extend the B2 visa, you need:
1. A completed and signed application form;
2. Color photo 3.5 x 4.5;
3. Passport of a foreign citizen;
4. Letter of request from the inviting company;
5. Power of attorney from the company (if submitted by a representative);
6. A copy of the contract between a Kazakh and a foreign company;
7. Receipt of payment of state duty — 7 MCI.

1. The total stay on business visas should not exceed 120 calendar days per year. In case of excess, the inviting party must issue a work permit.
2. Administrative fines are provided for exceeding the visa period in accordance with Articles 517 and 518 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. It is prohibited to perform labor functions and conclude employment contracts on business visas.
4. Business visas do not apply to family members of a foreign citizen.
5. Invitations will not be accepted if the company has violated the requirements for notification of arrival twice in the last year and has not issued visa documents on time. In this case, a ban on issuing new invitations for 12 months is imposed.
